12-15-14

Today in Human Geo, we reviewed for exams. We discussed how many questions were in each section, and how he scores it. He told us that it was worth 20 percent of our semester grade, which I already knew. He also gave us the option to do a rap that might get entered in the New York Times contest. Also if we do it we get 10 free points which is pretty good. I probably won't do it, but I probably should before this class drops, too.

Test Review

Today in Human Geo, we reviewed the test that I failed horribly on. I probably should've studied more but I can't really change it.

Test

Today in Human Geo, we took a test on different religions. However, a few questions were on slum dog millionaire. I noticed that the first few questions of the test were questions asked to Jamal on the game show in the movie Slum Dog Millionaire. Overall the test was apparently pretty hard, considering my grade wasn't too very good.

Evacuation Drill

Today in Human Geo, we had an evacuation drill. After the evacuation drill was over we went inside and resumed taking notes. In the powerpoint he showed us some things that I already knew about, such as religious problems in the world. I also learned about a joke of a religion that was something about pasta. They made up a really dumb religion because that wanted the religious rights every other religion in the country gets.

12-3-14

Today in Human Geo, we took notes. The notes we took were on countries and their languages. I learned that Canada was a bilingual country. The two languages they speak are English and French. I do believe that the only part of Canada that speaks French is Quebec. Another thing we learned that i must admit did shock me a little was that America has never and still doesn't have a primary language. I always thought that the United States had English as their official language.
